In 1996 we had the chance to catch up with FRED NICOLE,
picking him up at a train station in Switzerland
since he doesn't own a car and has no drivers
licence. He had just climbed RADJA, the than
hardest problem in the world. Fred very much
continues to impress today - that's why it

Magic Wood turned out to be the new boulder eldorado, with lot of hard problems and it was time to to crack some of the real nuts. Dave climbed most of the problems within no time. Wie funktionieren Schwierigkeitsgrade?
Funktionieren sie überhaupt? Woran erkennt man gute Kletterer? Gibt
es einen "besten Kletterer"? Klettert der alles besser
als Du? Ist der vielleicht nur viel, viel stärker? Wer ist überhaupt
der beste Kletterer der Welt? Warum klettert der besser als Du? Welches
ist die schwierigste Route? Warum ist die so schwierig?
Auch 2001 ist kein Kletterer vom Himmel gefallen,
